The City of Palmerston is located just 21kms from the heart of Darwin and is a young, vibrant city attracting a number of young families, Defence personnel.
The city currently boasts a population of 32,000, however it is anticipated 45,000 people will call Palmerston 'home' by 2025.
Home to two shopping centres with another one underway, a GP super clinic, a water park and a range of cafes and restaurants, Palmerston has established its own unique identity over the past 30 years.
There are currently four new suburbs under construction to cater for the city's booming population, and plenty of retail and commercial opportunities in the pipeline. In 2012, Council approved a master plan for the City's CBD, with stage one involving the redevelopment of Goyder Square breaking ground in November 2013.
In 2012, the city celebrated its 30th birthday and held a special gala dinner at picturesque Marlow Lagoon to commemorate the special event.
